It's Christmas season, but I decide to talk about the crucifixion, for Christ came to earth primarily to die for us, to pay the ransome, the price of atonement for our sins; through this grace we can be saved and sanctified.

I find a song that precisely describes our situation in Oxford. You can have a look =]

很難想像，從奧林匹克公園地鐵站口走出來，一襲青布長衫的嚴复，看到那個叫作“鳥巢”（bird's nest）的建筑，他會做何感想。如果古老与現代、東方与西方總會有一個交匯點的話，那么“鳥巢”——中國國家体育場恐怕就是世人進入北京最新的“入口”（entrance）了。
